Parking Around Vladeck Houses

Street cleaning, meter and no-parking basics for the streets around the development on the Lower East Side, from Gouverneur Street to Jackson Street and Madison Street to Water Street.

Street Cleaning

Alternate side parking. No parking on that side during the posted time so the sweeper can pass.

Metered Parking

Pay at the meter or with the ParkNYC app. Most nearby meters run Mon–Sat and are free on Sunday.

No Parking

Bus stops, hydrants and “No Standing Anytime” zones. You can be ticketed or towed any time.

Special Rules

School days, truck loading, carshare, back-in angle parking and authorized vehicle zones. Read the sign.

Always read the sign on your blockRules change block by block and side by side. The posted sign is the rule that counts, and temporary signs (construction, filming, events) override everything else.
